Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone call with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar. The discussion focused on the robust ties between Bahrain and Qatar.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the dialogue included a thorough evaluation of recent regional developments. Both ministers emphasized the importance of de-escalating tensions in the region and discussed strategies to bolster regional security and stability. A significant part of their conversation revolved around the efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz to maritime traffic, ensuring the safety and security of navigation in line with international law and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
