Bahrain Condemns Drone Attack on Ships at Egypt’s Damietta Port

Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain has issued a strong condemnation of a recent drone attack targeting two vessels at Damietta Port in Egypt, which led to fires on both ships.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has labeled the attack as a flagrant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations. The ministry warned that such actions represent a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security, stability, and global energy supplies.

The statement further emphasized Bahrain's full solidarity with Egypt, expressing unwavering support for all legitimate measures taken by Egypt to protect its sovereignty, national security, and vital infrastructure. Bahrain reiterated its call for an immediate cessation of terrorist attacks and urged respect for state sovereignty and international law. The ministry also stressed the importance of efforts to preserve regional security, stability, and the safety of civilians.
