Amman: An official spokesperson for the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) announced that air defence systems successfully intercepted and shot down five incoming Iranian missiles targeting the Kingdom's territory early Thursday dawn.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the spokesperson confirmed that the threat was detected and neutralised in accordance with pre-established defence plans. The interception procedures were executed with high efficiency and precision, thwarting the attempt with zero human casualties recorded.
Reaffirming the military's posture, the official spokesperson stressed that the JAF remains committed to protecting the Kingdom's airspace, safeguarding national security and sovereignty, and maintaining the highest state of readiness to decisively confront any threat to the Kingdom and its citizens.
