He credited the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for advancing bilateral relations. Additionally, he acknowledged the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, alongside His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, in strengthening the cooperation between the two nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, these remarks were made during a meeting with Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al Marshad, Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), and Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi, the Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain. The meeting included the presence of several key officials from Bahrain, such as Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works; Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning; and Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted the pivotal role the Saudi Fund for Development plays in supporting Bahrain's development projects, reflecting the enduring ties between the two nations and broader Gulf cooperation.
