Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Air Marshal (Retd) Martin 'Sammy' Sampson, Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS)-Middle East, at the Ministry's headquarters. The meeting focused on the upcoming 22nd Manama Dialogue, which is set to be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain in early November.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions also emphasized the ongoing cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the IISS. Both parties explored ways to further strengthen their collaboration in support of shared objectives, highlighting the importance of strategic partnerships in addressing regional and global challenges.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Salah Mohammed Shehab, Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, underscoring the significance of diplomatic protocols in enhancing international relations. The Manama Dialogue is expected to serve as a pivotal platform for dialogue and cooperation among international leaders and policymakers.
