Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, engaged in a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, to explore avenues for enhancing bilateral relations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the dialogue between the two ministers focused on strengthening cooperation across various sectors. They assessed current regional developments and discussed topics of mutual interest, aiming to fortify diplomatic ties.
The ministers also addressed the collaboration between Bahrain and Russia within the framework of their membership in the United Nations Security Council. Emphasizing the significance of sustained coordination and dialogue, they highlighted their commitment to contributing to regional and international security, stability, and multilateral cooperation.
