Manama: Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hameed Al Shaikh, Chief Executive of the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), signed a cooperation agreement between the BIBF and the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute to organise and implement the Data Protection Officer Training Programme.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement is part of national efforts aimed at enhancing compliance with Law No. (30) of 2018, which pertains to the Personal Data Protection Law. The initiative also seeks to develop specialised professional talent in the area of data protection.
