Bahrain Government Upgrades 88 Services Across 18 Public Entities

Manama: Bahrain Government has upgraded 88 services across 18 public entities between January 15 and June 24, 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to improve service delivery, streamline procedures, and enhance government efficiency.

According to Bahrain News Agency, among the key improvements, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments introduced a faster cheque collection process. Additionally, the Ministry of Education simplified certificate attestation and equivalency services for private school graduates by reducing processing time and incorporating QR code verification.

The Survey and Land Registration Bureau expedited its marine survey request service and introduced automated application tracking. Meanwhile, the University of Bahrain digitised the academic programme selection service for students who did not meet admission test requirements.

The service enhancements delivered a full digital transition, reducing service delivery times by at least 25%, limiting applications to no more than four steps, halving the number of required documents and webpages needed to access services. User experience was also improved through simplified procedures, electronic application forms, and standardised service information across government channels.
