According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty the King received the UK ambassador and awarded him the Order of Bahrain (First Class). Additionally, His Majesty issued Order (20) of 2026, establishing the National Resilience Documentation Committee. The King also received numerous cables from Bahraini families, affirming their loyalty and support.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad hailed the Bahrain International Trophy's promotion to Group 1 status as a milestone achievement, reinforcing Bahrain's status among the world's leading horseracing nations. The Information Minister echoed this sentiment, stating that the Group 1 status elevates the kingdom's global standing in horseracing.
On the diplomatic front, the Foreign Minister engaged in a series of phone calls with international counterparts, including Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, the UK Undersecretary for Middle East, North Africa and Afghanistan, and the Costa Rican Foreign Minister.
