Qatar: The Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar announced that the number of people injured in the incident at a factory in the Ras Laffan Industrial Area has reached 54. The Ministry is actively involved in managing the situation and providing assistance to the affected individuals.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry stated that the Qatari International Search and Rescue Group, affiliated with the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), is working in coordination with Civil Defense teams. These teams are conducting intensive search operations for 18 individuals who remain missing following the incident.
The Ministry further noted that preliminary findings suggest the incident was caused by a technical malfunction during operations at the facility. However, it reassured the public that there had been no hazardous leak or release of substances that could pose a threat to public safety.
