Judicial and Legal Studies Institute Conducts 77 Training Courses, Engages Over 1,000 Trainees

Manama: The Board of Trustees of the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute convened for its 27th meeting under the leadership of Dr. Ali bin Fadhel Al Buainain, the Attorney General. The session focused on evaluating the Institute's performance during the first half of 2026, highlighting significant achievements in training and qualification.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting included notable figures such as Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments; Counselor Nawaf Abdullah Hamza, President of the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission; Issa Sami Al Mannai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs and Endowments; Salah Ahmed Al Midfa, Chairman of the Bahrain Bar Society; Dr. Khaled Serry Seyam, Chairman of the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute, and Dr. Riyadh Mohammed Seyadi, Director of the Institute. They reviewed operational indicators revealing the delivery of 77 training courses, totaling 261 hours, involving 78 trainers and benefiting 1,028 participants from various legal professions.

The Board addressed institutional development, service enhancement, and technical system upgrades, alongside cooperation with national and international entities. The discussion included the new advocacy law and developing training programs for lawyers to meet its requirements and enhance their professional skills. The Institute aims to align its programs with global professional and training standards to improve the efficiency of legal practitioners.
