Riyadh: Nawal Ibrahim Al Khater Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, participated as a keynote speaker at InnoXera Connect 2026, a global summit on digital education technologies held under the theme 'Education Without Borders: Keeping Learning Through Crisis' The event brought together senior government officials, smart education leaders, and executives from leading international technology companies.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during her keynote address, Al Khater highlighted Bahrain's efforts to advance its digital education ecosystem through the enhancement of digital infrastructure and the development of forward-looking policies that can adapt to the rapid evolution of educational technology and artificial intelligence. She emphasised the importance of empowering both educators and students with future-ready skills to support the growth of a sustainable knowledge-based economy.
The summit featured discussions involving officials from education and telecommunications ministries across the region, alongside representatives of global technology leaders, including Google for Education, Microsoft, Intel, and Amazon Web Services. The sessions explored opportunities to strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors and accelerate the development of innovative, technology-driven learning solutions.
