Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, met with Zayed Rashid Al Zayani, Chairman of Zayani Investments Group, and Rashid Zayed Al Zayani, Managing Director of First Motors, the official distributor of Genesis in Bahrain. The meeting was also attended by Lieutenant-General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Police, and Shaikh Salman bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Interior Minister praised Genesis Middle East and Africa, represented by First Motors, for their dedication to innovation and sustainability in delivering advanced mobility solutions that assist in emergencies. He emphasized that the company's initiatives demonstrate solidarity and support for public safety and civil protection efforts.
Gen. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah highlighted the company's environmentally friendly products and community initiatives as exemplary models of partnership and cooperation. He noted how these efforts contribute to sustainable development and reinforce the importance of social responsibility.
The Interior Minister also expressed gratitude to Genesis for supplying eight GV60 electric vehicles. These vehicles, capable of serving as additional power sources, are part of efforts to enhance the First Responder Service at the National Ambulance Centre. They will ensure the continued operation of equipment and devices during emergencies, thereby supporting service delivery to both citizens and residents.
Rashid Al Zayani, on behalf of the group, thanked the Interior Minister for his ongoing engagement and commitment to the nation and its citizens.
