RHF Signs Agreement to Support New NCST Branch in Muharraq

Muharraq: The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), Nasser Centre for Science and Technology (NCST), and Kooheji Foundation have entered a cooperation agreement to support and fund the development, renovation, and equipping of a new NCST branch at Bahrain International Investment Park in Muharraq Governorate. This initiative is aimed at providing an advanced educational and training environment, enhancing vocational and technical programmes, and introducing a specialised training programme in hospitality and hotel management.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Ebrahim Dalhan Al Doseri, Acting Secretary-General of RHF, praised the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, acknowledging the King's support for the development of the education sector in Bahrain. Al Doseri also recognized the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in establishing NCST and supporting its educational and training programmes. He highlighted that this agreement underscores RHF's commitment to educational and training initiatives that empower national talents. He mentioned that NCST, launched by RHF in 2014, is among the Foundation's development projects, and the new branch in Muharraq will allow more students and young people to access specialised educational and training programmes.

Al Doseri expressed gratitude to Kooheji Foundation for its support and emphasized the role of community partnerships in promoting educational and development initiatives. Dr. Abdulla Nasser Al Noaimi, CEO of NCST, remarked that the new branch signifies an expansion of the Centre's educational and training services, providing more opportunities for youth to benefit from programmes that align with labour market needs and national development goals. He added that the hospitality and hotel management programme will help prepare qualified national cadres with essential professional and practical skills.

Abdulghaffar Abdulraheem Al Kooheji, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Kooheji Foundation, stated that the foundation is proud to contribute to the project as part of its commitment to investing in people and equipping youth with future skills and knowledge. Al Kooheji reiterated the foundation's dedication to supporting initiatives that build national capabilities and prepare youth for the labour market. He noted that the partnership with RHF and NCST exemplifies cooperation in promoting sustainable development and educational opportunities for the youth.
