Manama: The Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) announced the launch of its revamped official website as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance institutional communication tools and modernize information-sharing channels, in line with the requirements of the next phase of government work and to improve access to information and content related to the youth and sports sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the launch aligns with the directives of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the SCYS. This initiative aims at enhancing institutional efficiency and adopting modern technological solutions to strengthen engagement with the public, partners, and relevant stakeholders.
Aymen bin Tawfeeq Al Moayyed, Secretary-General of the SCYS, stated that the new website reflects the council's efforts to further develop its institutional communication framework. It aims to strengthen its media presence through a reliable official platform showcasing the policies, programmes, initiatives, and projects overseen by the council in the youth and sports sectors.
Almoayyed emphasized that the website will enhance transparency and improve access to information. It is designed to support communication with various segments of society and partner entities while keeping pace with the ongoing development of the youth and sports sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He added that the launch of the redesigned website reflects the council's commitment to continuously updating its institutional and media tools in line with best practices. This improvement aims to enhance the quality of content and information provided to the public, meeting the expectations of beneficiaries.
The website, launched in cooperation with the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), features a modern design and advanced content structure that enables quick access to news, statements, programmes, initiatives, and activities. It has been developed in accordance with government website standards, focusing on ease of use, accuracy of information, regular updates, and a seamless browsing experience across various devices and digital platforms.
