Manama: His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, held a significant meeting with Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik, the Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan. This meeting was marked by discussions aimed at strengthening the defence ties between Bahrain and Pakistan.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Brigadier Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Training at the National Guard, was also in attendance. HH General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa underscored the robust and continuously evolving relationship between the two nations, lauding the advancements made in defence cooperation and military collaboration.
The meeting focused on topics of mutual interest, exploring avenues to expand defence cooperation and enhance coordination. Both sides expressed their commitment to supporting shared interests and reinforcing the longstanding partnership between Bahrain and Pakistan.
