Hidd: Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, conducted an inspection tour in Salman Industrial City (Hidd), which included a visit to Kingdom Group companies under "New Holding."
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister was received by Ali Jameel Al Mutawa, Vice Chairman of the Board, Abdullah Shehabi, Group Managing Director, Ahmed Khalaf, Chief Executive Officer, and Matrook Al Mutawa, Operations Manager, along with several other officials and administrators of the group.
Minister Fakhro reaffirmed the Ministry's commitment to supporting the industrial sector and enhancing its role in sustainable economic development, strengthening supply chains, and boosting national industrial competitiveness. He emphasized the importance of developing national industries, increasing production capacity, and supporting industrial security and supply chain resilience.
During the tour, the minister was briefed on the group's operations, expansion plans, and future projects, and toured its facilities to review production processes, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
Officials from the group reaffirmed their commitment to supporting national industrial development and improving productivity in line with Bahrain's development goals. New Holding manages a diversified portfolio of industrial and construction companies in Bahrain, operating through a centralized governance system across sectors including asphalt, cement, concrete, ready-mix, sand washing, and chemical solutions.
