Bahrain Condemns Iranian Attacks on Kuwait Targeting Key Facilities

Manama: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain has voiced strong condemnation and denunciation of the ongoing Iranian terrorist attacks on Kuwait. These attacks have targeted civilian and vital facilities, including Kuwait International Airport and diplomatic missions, with missile and drone assaults leading to one fatality and several injuries.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministry stated that these attacks represent a dangerous escalation threatening regional security and stability. It highlighted the blatant violation of Kuwait's sovereignty and the clear breach of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and the principles of good neighborliness. The attacks also contravene Security Council Resolution No. (2817).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized Bahrain's full solidarity with Kuwait and expressed complete support for Kuwait's legitimate measures to preserve its sovereignty, security, and the safety of its citizens and residents. The ministry also commended the effectiveness of Kuwait's air defenses in responding to the Iranian attacks.

In addition, the ministry conveyed Bahrain's sincere condolences and sympathy to the government of Kuwait, its citizens, and the family of the victim. It wished the injured a speedy recovery and expressed hopes for continued security, stability, and prosperity for Kuwait and its people.
