Yemen: The Republic of Yemen strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait over the past hours. In a statement, Yemen's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the attack on Kuwait International Airport, which resulted in casualties and significant material damage, saying it constituted a blatant attack on a vital civilian facility and a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, the Charter of the United Nations, and the principles of good neighbourliness.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministry also condemned the continued Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, including civilian facilities, and threatening the safety of its citizens and residents. It said the attacks reflect a systematic hostile approach aimed at expanding instability and escalation and undermining regional security and stability, adding that the continued targeting of neighbouring countries and civilian facilities exposes the aggressive nature of the Iranian regime.
Yemen emphasised its full and steadfast solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait and its support for all measures they undertake to safeguard their security, stability, and the safety of their citizens and residents. It also commended the high level of readiness and vigilance demonstrated by the armed forces and relevant authorities in both countries in responding to the attacks.
The ministry stressed that ending the ongoing threat requires a firm international stance to deter Iran's aggressive policies and put an end to the use of missiles, drones, proxies, and armed militias as tools to threaten the security, stability, and sovereignty of states in the region.
