Manama: The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force reported that Iran has continued its systematic hostile approach through attacks using missiles and drones aimed at civilian locations within the Kingdom of Bahrain. The defence systems managed to successfully intercept and destroy three missiles and several drones targeting these civilian sites.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the General Command confirmed that all arms and units of the Bahrain Defence Force are operating at the highest levels of readiness and defensive preparedness to protect the Kingdom. This readiness is part of a firm resolve to ensure the safety of Bahrain's residents and infrastructure.
The General Command has called on the public to remain vigilant and cautious regarding any unfamiliar or suspicious objects that may result from these attacks. Citizens are urged to avoid approaching or handling such objects and to report them immediately to the authorities. The Royal Field Engineering Unit is prepared to safely manage these objects, ensuring the safety of all citizens and residents.
The deliberate targeting of civilian sites and private property using missiles and drones constitutes a clear violation of international humanitarian law, as stressed by the General Command. It also expressed pride in the advanced combat readiness and high vigilance demonstrated by its personnel in fulfilling their national duty to defend the Kingdom.
