Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has issued Edict (11) of 2026, appointing new directors at the executive body of the Supreme Council for Environment. This decision follows a proposal made by the Council's President.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the edict outlines several key appointments. Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Abdullah Al Khalifa has been appointed as the Director of the Mohammed bin Zayed Nature Reserve Directorate. Additionally, Nouf Ali Abdulmohsen Al Wasmi has been named the Director of the Natural Reserves Affairs Directorate.
The edict mandates that the President of the Supreme Council for Environment is responsible for implementing its provisions. The edict takes effect immediately from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
