Bahrain Highlights Local Developments and Diplomatic Engagements

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today highlighted a range of significant local events and diplomatic meetings that have occurred in the past 24 hours. Among the notable activities was a meeting where His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received the newly appointed Board of Directors from the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). Additionally, HM King Hamad held discussions with the Italian Ambassador, reflecting ongoing diplomatic relations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Bahrain expressed its appreciation for the European Union's show of solidarity in confronting Iran's aggression, underscoring the importance of international alliances. In related diplomatic news, the Foreign Minister held separate meetings with the US Ambassador and the Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Regional Delegation, emphasizing Bahrain's commitment to international cooperation and humanitarian efforts.

The National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) chaired a meeting with GCC tax authority directors, highlighting regional collaboration on fiscal policies.
