Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, received Lord Mark Sedwill, Chair of the Trustees and Member of the Advisory Council of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS): The Finance Minister highlighted ongoing cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and institutions specialising in strategic research and studies, including the IISS, particularly in relation to the organisation of the Manama Dialogue. He noted that the forum has become a prominent international platform, bringing together decision-makers and security experts to discuss key challenges and explore solutions that support regional and global security, stability, and development.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting also addressed a number of topics of mutual interest, and reviewed recent regional and international developments.
