Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait has declared that the Iranian attacks on its territory and those of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states represent a blatant violation of sovereignty and a breach of international and humanitarian law, as well as the UN Charter. Kuwait reiterated its commitment to the right of legitimate self-defense and the need to take all necessary measures to protect its territory and ensure the safety of its citizens and residents.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this statement was made by Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, during his leadership of the Kuwaiti delegation at the eighth joint ministerial meeting between the GCC and the Kingdom of Morocco, held via video conference. He expressed his approval of the Security Council's adoption of Resolution 2817, which condemns the Iranian attacks, and praised Morocco's solidarity with the GCC states. Sheikh Jarrah also emphasized the importance of strengthening the strategic partnership between the two sides.
