Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with several religious leaders at the Ahmed Al-Fateh Islamic Center. The meeting aligns with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's directives to safeguard the Kingdom and its people amidst ongoing challenges posed by Iranian aggression.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King to the religious leaders, along with wishes for them to promote tolerance and understanding during the Holy Month of Ramadan. He emphasized the importance of enhancing the spirit of responsibility and cooperation for the benefit of the Kingdom and its people.
His Royal Highness reiterated that under the leadership of His Majesty the King, Bahrain remains committed to promoting coexistence within the community. He highlighted that the strength of the Kingdom is rooted in the determination of its people and emphasized the significance of gathering in places of worship as symbols of unity and solidarity.
His Royal Highness also underlined the role of religious leaders as role models within their communities, stressing the importance of spreading awareness and fostering unity. He expressed gratitude for the awareness and responsibility of Bahrainis and highlighted their loyalty to the Kingdom.
Additionally, His Royal Highness expressed pride in the Bahrain Defence Force personnel for their role in safeguarding the nation against threats. He commended the Ministry of Interior's efforts in maintaining security and public order, acknowledging the dedication of its officers and staff.
The religious leaders expressed gratitude to His Royal Highness, reaffirming their support for efforts to strengthen the Kingdom's security and stability. They praised the Kingdom's progress and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness's directives.
In attendance were HE Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs; HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior; HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; and HE Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
