According to Bahrain News Agency, the group stated that it is closely monitoring ongoing developments and coordinating continuously with the relevant authorities. Enhanced safety and security measures continue to be implemented across the port's facilities to ensure the highest levels of protection for employees, customers, and partners, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
Jebel Ali Port is the largest port in the region and serves as a key hub for trade between Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. The port's four terminals handle more than 15 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) annually, in addition to large volumes of bulk, breakbulk, and wheeled cargo.
