General Command of Bahrain Defence Force: 74 Iranian Missiles and 92 Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Destroyed

Manama: The Bahrain Defence Force General Command has declared that its air defence systems have intercepted and destroyed 74 missiles and 92 unmanned aerial vehicles. These were launched amid ongoing Iranian terrorist aggression against the Kingdom, which began on Saturday, 28 February 2026.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the BDF General Command emphasized its commitment to act as a stalwart shield against threats to Bahrain's security, stability, and national sovereignty. They assured that all defence systems are maintained at peak readiness to address any potential threats.

The General Command also highlighted that the deployment of ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles targeting civilian areas and private property is a clear breach of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter. Such attacks are seen as a direct threat to regional peace and security, violating principles of distinction and proportionality.

The BDF General Command has advised the public to remain indoors and only go outside when absolutely necessary, urging caution and vigilance. They also encouraged the public to seek information from official sources, avoid filming military operations, ignore rumors, and steer clear of affected areas.
