Manama: The Ministry of Interior has announced that the General Directorate of Traffic, in collaboration with the Information and eGovernment Authority, has initiated a traffic awareness platform at The Avenues Mall. The initiative aims to help road users become acquainted with the new systems and mechanisms used to detect traffic violations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the platform includes various awareness and educational programs that focus on the new traffic cameras. It also introduces the traffic services provided by the Directorate, explaining how the public can benefit from them.
The General Directorate has stated that it plans to intensify its awareness programs in the coming period. It urges citizens and residents to update their contact details via the eTraffic and MyGov applications to ensure they receive alerts and notifications directly.
