Manama: The Institute of Public Administration (IPA) organised a meeting for authorised training officers of human resources employees in ministries and government entities. The meeting included a presentation of the institute's training plan, in addition to the delivery of a specialised course on the use of artificial intelligence in the field of human resources.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, underlined the importance of investing in the development of national professionals in supporting comprehensive development.
Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa stated that the institute's training plan focuses on strengthening institutional communication and developing national competencies in line with current requirements, in a manner that enhances institutional performance.
The Director General noted that the inclusion of the artificial intelligence course for human resources specialists aligns with national directions towards digital transformation and reflects the institute's commitment to equipping human resources employees with modern tools and technologies that contribute to improving institutional performance. Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa also highlighted the institute's continued efforts to develop its training programmes in line with international best practices and the needs of the public sector.
Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa commended the positive interaction of participants and their keenness to benefit from the themes of the meeting and the accompanying course, reiterating that the IPA continues to fulfil its national role in preparing and qualifying national professionals in support of sustainable development objectives.
