Beijing: The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) participated in the International Media Conference for the 6th Asian Beach Games, set to take place in Sanya, the People's Republic of China, from April 22-30. The conference is being held from January 18-21 in China, and saw the attendance of Hasan Ali Ahmed, Head of Media and Electronic Content, and Ali Al Halwaji, Photography Specialist.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the conference commenced with a welcoming address by Jeans Zhou Jian, Director of Media and Broadcasting at the Olympic Council of Asia. He conveyed greetings from Fares Mustafa Al Kooheji, Chairman of the Olympic Council of Asia Media Committee. Zhou Jian expressed confidence in China's ability to successfully host the event, highlighting the country's extensive experience and efficiency in organizing major multi-sport events, including beach, summer, and winter Games.
He assured attendees that high-level facilities and top-class broadcasting and media services will be provided to ensure smooth broadcasting and media coverage of the Games across Asia and globally. The conference programme featured speeches and presentations on various aspects including media services, accommodation, transportation, competition venues, medical and nutritional services, as well as details about the opening and closing ceremonies.
