HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Praises 2026 Designation as “Year of Isa Al Kabeer”

Manama: His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa today commended His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's Royal Order designating 2026 as the "Year of Isa Al Kabeer," in celebration of the founder of the modern state and the leader of the modern institutional history of Bahrain, His Highness Isa Al Kabeer, Ruler of Bahrain and its Dependencies.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Highness highlighted that this Royal Order reflects His Majesty the King's commitment to commemorate the memory of the Kingdom's historic figures and embodies the loyalty and appreciation for His Highness Isa Al Kabeer's efforts and historical achievements that had a profound impact in consolidating Bahrain's modern political, economic, and cultural position across the region.

HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman noted that the "Year of Isa Al Kabeer" is an important national occasion to remember the noble values that His Highness embodied, such as loyalty, belonging, and giving for the sake of the Kingdom, which will serve as a source of inspiration for generations to come.

His Highness commended the various developmental and cultural projects taking place in Muharraq, which embody the vision and commitment of His Majesty the King to strengthen and preserve Bahrain's authentic identity.

His Highness also commended the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which aim to implement a wide range of developmental projects across Muharraq, in accordance with His Majesty's vision, contributing to showcasing Muharraq's historical and cultural standing.

His Highness concluded by expressing his pride and appreciation for this Royal Order, wishing further security, stability, and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty the King.
