Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Al Sakhir Palace, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Excellency Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. His Majesty affirmed his pride in the close historical relations and strong bonds that unite the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which continue to grow through the mutual keenness to enhance and advance them in a manner that fulfils shared goals and aspirations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during the meeting, HE the Deputy Prime Minister conveyed to His Majesty the greetings and appreciation of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan, along with his best wishes for Bahrain and its people for continued progress and prosperity. His Majesty relayed his greetings and sincere wishes to His Majesty the Jordanian Monarch, and to the Jordanian people for further development and prosperity.
His Majesty the King welcomed His Excellency and commended such fraternal visits for their role in strengthening cooperation, consultation, and constructive coordination on various issues, particularly in light of regional developments and events, in a manner that serves mutual interests and reinforces their longstanding relations.
His Majesty also praised the efforts of HM the King of Jordan in consolidating and strengthening the distinguished relations between the two kingdoms, as well as the commendable efforts of Jordan, under His Majesty's leadership, to enhance the framework of joint Arab action and to support endeavours aimed at achieving peace, security, and stability in the region.
For his part, HE the Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed his gratitude to His Majesty the King for the hospitality and reception, and his pride in His Majesty's efforts to strengthen the historical relations and firm bonds between the two kingdoms and their peoples. He also commended the honourable Arab stances of the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, wishing the Kingdom and its people continued progress and prosperity.
