Riyadh: The Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF) participated in the Gulf Shield Exercise 2026, held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the participation of all member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The exercise aims to enhance combat readiness and improve the collective response to various threats.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the exercise encompasses a range of procedures, tests, and scenarios designed to strengthen joint action and promote integration within the joint operational environment. This initiative aligns with best practices and aims to ensure integration within the flexible deterrence system.
The Gulf Shield Exercise is considered a fundamental pillar in consolidating the concept of joint military action, aimed at ensuring the security, safety, and stability of the GCC states.
