According to Bahrain News Agency, these remarks were made during a press conference celebrating Bahrain's upcoming hosting of the renowned theatrical production "Wicked The Musical" next week. This performance marks the first time the globally acclaimed show will be presented in the Middle East, signifying a significant cultural milestone for Bahrain. Dr. Al Noaimi emphasized that such events reflect Bahrain's commitment to fostering cultural dialogue and supporting high-quality artistic endeavors.
The Minister elaborated on the successful public-private partnership model that facilitated the hosting of this production, ensuring adherence to top artistic and organizational standards. He acknowledged the contributions of sponsors such as Nad Groups Holding and the National Bank of Kuwait, and partners like the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Tarteeb Events and Marketing, and Cineco Bahrain, in bringing the event to fruition.
Expressing optimism about future collaborations, Dr. Al Noaimi hoped this production would pave the way for more international events, further enhancing Bahrain's cultural scene and artistic reputation. Mohammed Al Muharraqi of Tarteeb Events and Marketing also highlighted the alignment of hosting "Wicked The Musical" with Bahrain's vision to draw leading global productions, noting planned workshops to develop local talent in the performing arts.
