HM King Appoints New Deputy CEOs at Social Insurance Organisation

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Decree (75) of 2025, appointing three new Deputy Chief Executive Officers at the Social Insurance Organisation (SIO). This decision follows a proposal by the Minister of Finance and National Economy and subsequent approval from the Cabinet.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the appointments include Abdulrahman Abdulla Jassim Al Thawadi as Deputy CEO for Insurance Affairs. Al Thawadi previously served as the Director of the Economic Policies Directorate at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy. Mohamed Abdulhakeem Ahmed Abdulmalek has been appointed as Deputy CEO for Operations, having served as Director of the Central Procurement Directorate at the same ministry.

Seema Ahmed Mohammed Al Mahmood has been named Deputy CEO for Pensioners' Affairs. Before this appointment, she was the Director of the Change Management and Business Process Re-engineering Directorate at the Information and eGovernment Authority.

The decree mandates the Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with other relevant authorities, to implement the changes. It is effective immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.
