Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, met with Sameer bin Abdulla Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), along with members of the Chamber's Board of Directors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa emphasized the importance of advancing economic development in alignment with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He stressed the necessity of strengthening strategic partnerships with the private sector to support efforts aimed at diversifying the economy through the implementation of additional plans and initiatives that promote development across all sectors.
During the meeting, the Minister briefed the attendees on the decisions approved by the Cabinet in its session held today, chaired by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The decisions focus on implementing a series of initiatives to improve the financial situation and ensure the continuity of support provided to citizens.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted the role of the Bahraini private sector and its contributions to economic development, serving the interests of the Kingdom and its citizens. He commended the efforts of the BCCI and the private sector in continuing to achieve prosperity and growth for the Kingdom and all its people.
