Manama: Bahrain All Share Index ended the trading session at 2,064.35 points, experiencing a decrease of 1.74 points from its previous closing. The decline was attributed to reductions in the communications services and financials sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a decrease, closing at 1,026.04 points, which is 2.17 points lower than its prior closing. The trading session reported a total of 84 equity transactions with a trading volume reaching 3,238,063 shares, translating to a trading value of BHD 1,373,020.
Investors showed a preference for the materials sector, which accounted for 53.00% of the total value of the securities traded.
