Ministry of Labour to Honour Workers for Excellence in Private Sector

Manama: Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Ministry of Labour will hold the 40th annual ceremony to honour outstanding and exemplary workers in private sector establishments on Wednesday. The event coincides with the Kingdom of Bahrain's National Day celebrations and the 26th anniversary of His Majesty's accession to the throne, and the accompanying national events.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the ceremony will recognise a range of distinguished categories, including leaders in employing Bahrainis, outstanding managers, a distinguished labour pioneer, the best small enterprise, workers with disabilities, and workers in the informal economy. It will also honour employees across key sectors, including oil and gas, manufacturing, transport and logistics, information and communications technology, banking, insurance, construction, tourism, arts and entertainment, trade, social activities, healthcare, education, and real estate.

The annual ceremony reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain's commitment to recognising national competencies, encouraging dedicated workers, and promoting a culture of excellence and productivity across all sectors, in support of comprehensive development and the national economy.
