Islamabad: Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari received Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed Abdulqader, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Pakistan. The meeting was held to discuss the ongoing relations and cooperation between the two countries.
According to Bahrain News Agency, President Zardari expressed his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain. He also congratulated Bahrain on the occasion of its National Day celebrations and the 26th anniversary of His Majesty's Accession to the Throne, wishing them continued progress and prosperity.
President Zardari highlighted the strong and fraternal relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, emphasizing their shared values and mutual interests. He welcomed the positive outcomes of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif's recent official visit to Bahrain, noting it further strengthened bilateral cooperation.
The Ambassador conveyed greetings from His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to President Zardari, extending their best wishes for the people of Pakistan.
The meeting included a review of the current bilateral relations and explored ways to enhance cooperation across various fields to support mutual interests.
