Riyadh: King Khalid International Airport (KKIA), operated by Riyadh Airports Company, won two gold awards at the 2025 MarCom Awards, following competition among more than 6,500 entries from around the world.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the MarCom Awards, administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), recognise excellence in communications and marketing across a wide range of sectors.
The awards were granted in recognition of KKIA's institutional communications and media initiatives, particularly the Skytrax Awards 2025 nomination campaign, which contributed to the airport ranking 24th globally and first nationally after extensive international competition.
KKIA received gold awards in the categories of Best Social Media Marketing Campaign and Best Strategic Communications and Marketing Campaign, reflecting an integrated and innovative approach to communications and marketing within the aviation sector.
