Manama: Ghada Hameed Habib, Ombudswoman and Chairperson of the Prisoners' and Detainees' Rights Commission (PDRC), emphasized that the Kingdom of Bahrain is actively strengthening its human rights protection framework. This effort is grounded in Bahrain's civilisational heritage, societal values, and a robust legal and legislative framework, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and guided by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

According to Bahrain News Agency, in her remarks on Human Rights Day, which is observed annually on December 10, Habib highlighted Bahrain's significant progress in the field of human rights.
