Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Shura Council Chairman, extended thanks to Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD), and the executive team, on BIPD's 20th anniversary. Al Saleh praised their dedication and the impact of their work in serving the country. He noted their continued commitment to advancing the Institute's mission and its wider national objectives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh emphasized that the establishment of the Institute marked a significant milestone in strengthening national and democratic awareness, noting the Institute's influential role in supporting Bahrain's broader development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The Chairman highlighted that the Institute's steady achievements over nearly two decades reflect the support it receives from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He added that since its establishment in 2005, the Institute has become a central platform for promoting democratic culture, enhancing political understanding, and deepening awareness of constitutional principles. Al Saleh noted its role in providing training, research, and advisory support that has strengthened the capabilities of legislators, municipal officials, and a wide range of public and civil institutions.
