Bahrain Leadership and International Engagements Highlighted in Recent Events


Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today concentrated on significant events over the past 24 hours, showcasing the nation’s leadership and international engagements.



According to Bahrain News Agency, HM King received congratulations from HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as from senior Royal Family members and officials. These acknowledgments followed HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s attendance at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025, where McLaren secured the Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championship.



Additionally, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad hosted a delegation from the US Congress and announced a record production milestone at the refinery, one year after its inauguration. HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa participated in a reception celebrating Thailand’s National Day.



In governmental activities, the Deputy Prime Minister chaired an IPA Board meeting, while the Interior Minister held meetings with the Transportation Minister and the Capital Governor. The Municipalities Minister evaluated preparations for the Bahrain Animal and Agriculture Production Show (Mara’ee 2025). The Education Minister welcomed a delegation from Kuwait’s “Education First” group, and the Electricity Minister met with the Bahraini Automobile Agents Association.



Moreover, the Industry and Commerce Ministry introduced the 3rd Digital Business Champions Overseas Programme, and the Works Ministry signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Project Management Institute, reflecting Bahrain’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and innovation.
