Bahrain Engages in Arab Council for Population and Development Session in Baghdad

Baghdad: Khalid Al Mansoor, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Iraq, participated in the seventh session of the Arab Council for Population and Development, held in Baghdad. Delegations from member states, representatives of the Arab League, and officials from Iraq's Ministry of Planning attended the meeting.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting discussed population and development issues in the region, including challenges related to migration, displacement, and demographic change. It also reviewed ways to enhance Arab cooperation in developing policies and programs that support sustainable development.

The session concluded with a set of recommendations aimed at strengthening coordination among member states and improving joint action in population and development fields. Bahrain's participation reflects its support for collective Arab efforts and its commitment to contributing to regional initiatives related to population planning and comprehensive development.
