KHGC Deputy Chairman Hosts Minhaj-ul-Quran International Leader in Bahrain

Manama: Ali Abdulla Al Aradi, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Center for Coexistence and Tolerance, recently welcomed Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Dean of the Faculty of Law at Minhaj University Lahore, to the Center's headquarters. The meeting was also attended by Muneera Nofal Al Doseri, Executive Director of the Center.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Ali Al Aradi highlighted Bahrain's dedication to fostering academic and scientific collaboration with Pakistan. This includes the development of knowledge-based initiatives, educational and training programs, and research projects designed to empower youth and promote community awareness of coexistence values, mutual respect, and religious and cultural tolerance. Furthermore, these efforts are aimed at countering hate speech.

Professor Dr. Qadri, during the meeting, underscored the significance of strengthening academic and cultural cooperation as well as forming scientific and knowledge-based partnerships between Bahrain and Pakistan. He expressed his appreciation for Bahrain's initiatives and the Center's efforts in promoting a culture of peace and enhancing dialogue and engagement across religions and civilizations.
