Manama: The Information and eGovernment Authority's (iGA) Equal Opportunities Committee held its third meeting, chaired by iGA Chief Executive Mohammed Ali Al Qaed. The discussion highlighted iGA's continued commitment to building a fair and inclusive workplace and advancing the principles of equality and women's empowerment across all levels of the organisation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Qaed praised the Committee's important role in promoting equal opportunities and enhancing overall employee satisfaction. He stressed the value of adopting innovative ideas to help continuously improve the work environment.
The Committee reviewed a draft of the governance report for the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women 2025-2026, and feedback and suggestions submitted by employees on how to strengthen gender equality across different areas of iGA's processes. The meeting also covered the employee satisfaction survey and explored proposals to highlight success stories and volunteer contributions from staff, with the aim of showcasing individual achievements and community engagements that reflect a culture of teamwork and excellence.
The meeting affirmed iGA's commitment to fostering a motivating and inclusive work environment, supporting its employees, and empowering Bahraini women in the workplace in a way that promotes fairness, efficiency, and long-term professional and social stability.
