Salman city: Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works, and Ahmed Omar Trading and Contracting Company signed an agreement to construct the Hussain Ali Yateem Healthcare Centre in Salman City. Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, was present at the signing.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Al Hawaj affirmed the ministry's ongoing efforts to strengthen Bahrain's healthcare infrastructure. He emphasized that the construction of this health complex is part of a series of key projects aimed at enhancing primary healthcare centres across the Kingdom's governorates. The project is committed to adhering to the highest technical standards and specific requirements for primary healthcare facilities.
Minister Al Hawaj also highlighted the project's reflection of the ongoing partnership with the private sector, acknowledging its supportive role in government efforts. He expressed gratitude to the Hussain Ali Yateem family for their contribution, which reinforces community partnership and the role of individuals in supporting development efforts.
Dr. Jaleela stated that the new healthcare centre in Salman City will significantly contribute to the national healthcare system by providing a range of preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic services in line with the primary healthcare concept. She noted that the project aims to improve access to health services for residents, thereby enhancing public health and quality of life.
Dr. Ijlal Faisal Al Alawi, Chief Executive Officer of the Primary Healthcare Centres, emphasized that the construction of the Hussain Ali Yateem Healthcare Centre marks an important step in strengthening primary healthcare networks and expanding the range of services available to the community.
The centre will feature doctors' clinics, dental clinics, a laboratory, a radiology unit, a physiotherapy department, maternal and child health clinics, a pharmacy, and an emergency and nursing department.
