Bahrain All Share Index Records Decline Amid Sector Drops

Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,059.03 points, marking a decrease of 2.61 points below the previous closing. This decline was influenced by a drop in the consumer discretionary sector, the financial sector, the material sector, and the real estate sector.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index, however, showed a slight increase, closing at 1,002.61 points, which is 0.23 points higher than its previous closing. The trading session saw 128 equity transactions, with a volume of 7,488,051 shares, amounting to BD 644,075.

Investors predominantly focused their trades on the financial sector, which accounted for 77.19% of the total value of securities traded.
