Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, met with Elizabeth Litchfield, Charg© d'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain, to discuss means to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation between the two countries.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Musallam affirmed the deep Bahrain-U.S. relations and the shared commitment to advancing development cooperation, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Excellency Donald Trump, President of the U.S.
He praised the strategic partnership between the two nations, noting the importance of supporting joint initiatives and expanding cooperation and parliamentary coordination in international forums.
The meeting also reviewed issues of common interest aimed at promoting mutual prosperity and strengthening ties between the two countries and their peoples.
