Transportation Minister Meets Singapore’s Senior Minister of State to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation

Manama: Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, received Murali Pillai, Singapore's Senior Minister of State for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Law, to discuss enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise between the two nations in the fields of transport, communications, and logistics services.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing aspects of cooperation and exploring opportunities to develop partnerships in sectors of mutual interest. Both parties highlighted the importance of sharing expertise and best practices in sustainable transport, integrated infrastructure planning, and maritime and air services. These efforts aim to support economic development and improve the efficiency of transport systems in both Bahrain and Singapore.

Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed emphasized the continued progress of Bahrain-Singapore relations across various sectors. He reiterated the ministry's commitment to strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise to serve common interests and support sustainable development goals in the transportation sector.

Minister Pillai expressed his appreciation to the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain for its cooperation in promoting bilateral relations. He praised Bahrain's advancements in the transportation and communications sectors and underscored Singapore's interest in further enhancing collaboration between the two countries.
